E-Z-GO Introduces Enhanced MPT 1200 Refresher Vehicle
New Model Benefits Course Operators and Golfers with Added Options
(AUGUSTA, GA) — E-Z-GO, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company and the world’s leading manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, today introduces its enhanced MPT 1200 Refresher vehicle, now featuring additional space for beverage dispensing and dry storage.
The new MPT 1200 Refresher will be officially unveiled at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show, January 25-27 in Orlando (booth 3735), along with E-Z-GO’s PowerWiseTM QE 36-volt High Frequency Charger, a breakthrough in charger technology and electric car battery management.
In conjunction with 19th Hole Marketing, and in response to golf course feedback, E-Z-GO has redesigned the MPT 1200 Refresher to enhance operating convenience and golfer service. The standard accessory module has been remodeled to hold one 2.5-gallon beverage dispenser for hot or cold drinks, with a third shelf added for dry goods storage space. (The previous accessory module will be offered as an option that can hold either two or three, 3.0-liter “Airpot” coffee dispensers for multiple beverages.)
The E-Z-GO MPT 1200 Refresher features an 11-horsepower gas engine and standard capacity of 346 cans and 64 pounds of ice. The vehicle boasts generous storage and display space as well as cup holders, a trash receptacle, efficient drainage, advertising panels and Sunbrella canvas.

In addition to the MPT 1200 Refresher, E-Z-GO offers the Refresher Haulster and ST 4x4 Refresher. The Refresher Haulster is powered by a 28-horsepower engine with standard capacities of 576 cans and 92 pounds of ice. The heavy-duty ST 4x4 Refresher comes equipped with an 18-horsepower engine and can carry as many as 625 cans.
